Warhammer 40000 Tyranids Biovore

The Biovore is a squat, bloated creature - yet no less deadly for all that. Deep within its lumpen form, the Biovore nurtures a clutch of Spore Mines - living bombs that blanket the enemy in acids, poisons and shrapnel-sized pieces of chitin. A Biovore launches these Spore Mines through the air towards its enemy, where they detonate not on impact, but when it senses the proximity of a non-Tyranid life form.

When it comes to artillery the Tyranids are sadly lacking. This is where the Biovore comes in, as it can launch Spore Mines high into the air, dropping them amongst your opponents where they will either detonate with a spectacular blast, or lurk innocently until something gets too close (or pokes it with a sharp stick). This ability makes them very useful for securing objectives, which they can pepper with spore mines, making your opponent's job of capturing it just that little bit harder.

This pack contains one Tyranid Biovore - a finely detailed resin cast kit that comes in eight components (including three spore mines), and is supplied with one 60mm round base and three 25mm round bases. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly - we recommend using Citadel Super Glue and Citadel Paints.
